SLOANE ROBINSON BUILDING

Designed by Rick Mather Architects, the Sloane Robinson building is the 2nd project in the newly formed Newman Quad. The Newman Quad itself sits opposite the glorious Grade I listed 19th Century North Range by William Butterfield.

Completed in 2002 it stands along side the ARCO building, again designed by Rick Mather Architects, completed in 1995. Both projects use a mix of traditional 65mm metric brick work and 240 x 40mm Linear Facings laid both horizontal and vertically. A bespoke blend of Saxon Red Multi and Multi Red Old English was used in both buildings, inspired by the original Butterfield colour pallet.
