Brick Bulletin: Summer 2006

Cover & Internal feature: A striking new build in London's leafy Hampstead. The clients used the white buildings of Luis Barragan as their inspiration and chose Woolf Architects' to design their minimalist interpritation of the grand house in the suburbs. The brick specified for the project was the handmade Coleford Vauxhall Grey.

Brick Bulletin: January 2004

Cover & Internal feature: The Sloane Robinson Building, Keble College, Oxford, by Rick Mather Architects uses Roman-style stack-bonded bricks to create a building which is at once contemporary and classical. The brick specified for the project was the handmade Coleford Saxon Multi. Each brick thrown to a bespoke 40mm width. Winner of the Building of the year 2003 & Best public building 2003.

Brick Bulletin: January 2003

Cover & Internal feature: The Women's Library, London. Slotted between 1846 old tobacco warehouses and 1960 housing blocks, the Wright & Wright Architects designed building is a welcome addition to the London sky-line. Using American architect Louis Khan for inspiration the building exudeds security & permanence. The brick specified for the project was the handmade Coleford Saxon Multi. Winner of the Best Public Building award 2002.
